Object of the Game

The object of Luma is for the forces of good or evil to discover their special powers
and use them to defeat the other side. For the forces of good, Lumen is the main character. He has special powers of light and healing which can help him win quests and defeat the main force of evil, Sol Necavit. Sol Necavit has powers of darkness and deception and he can bend men to his will to make them fight on his side. The game can be played as either an evil player or a good player. The players conquer different characters in the game to eventually face each other and win.
There at least fifty side quests. You could do guilds, such as the assassin guild or the thieves guild. The average gamer would be able to get money and items in these side quests. At the beginning you would make your character with his stats first and then abilities. This would allow the character to play the way he wants to play. Once the character has beaten the game he can get upgrades from downloading at www.luma.com. In this game, the downloads might give the gamer new creatures and demons for him to beat in the dungeons of this game. He could do a type of freeform quest like enter dungeons to get special hidden items in the game. The main quest is to kill the final boss which is the demon Sol Necavit. Also you could play as Sol Necavit and destroy Lumens the savior of light.

Main Characters

The main characters would be Sol Necavit the Lord of Darkness and Lumens the Light Savior. My character would be Lumen. Lumen would be a child at first and then grow into a young man at the start of the game. He is a very quiet person who is a shepherd, and his family lives on a farm. He has a lot of time to think while he is watching the sheep and often he is alone with them in the mountains. He does not know that he has any special powers, but he dreams of adventure and doing something more than watch sheep. I would make his stats into a stealth mage with his arrow skills into a learner’s skill for a start. He was born under the birth sign of the savior of light which gave him the power of light. Lumen begins with special powers, but he does not know that he has them at first. His powers include Halo Light, Cloak of Light, Arrow of Light and Light Beam.
Sol Necavit has the power of darkness and is the opposite of Lumen. He is also quiet, but he does not dream of adventure. He thinks of dominating the world and having only himself as ruler. He has the Shield of Despair power to make shroud that confuses enemies and makes them fight for you. His beginner powers are Dark Beam, Cloak of Darkness, Shield of Despair, and Dark Arrows which silence your enemies.

The Setting
Luma is a peaceful world, with farmers growing crops and children playing games all day long. Kids would take large leaves which fell from the trees and use them as small boats to float down the river together and laugh. The trees grow very tall in Luma and the leaves are large enough for 2-3 kids at a time to use as small rafts. One of their favorite things to do is to swing down on vines from the trees and splash near each other in the river. They built bridges across the river with vines tied together and climbed across to crash each others boats. There were special days which celebrated the Sun as the giver of warmth and light. It was on such a day that Lumen was born.

One day there was a solar eclipse and all things began to change. There was a dark shadow in the distance and people thought it was getting colder and the sun did not shine as long each day. It was said that it even became so dark in some areas that the sun never appeared at all, and farmers lost their crops, and people died of starvation. Fear and anger were everywhere and people were on the run looking for safety and food to eat.
The Quest
The quest is to defeat Sol Necavit if you are Lumens the Light Savior. It is the same thing and vice versa. On the dark side you have different side quests. One of the quests would include being in the assassins guild. Later in the game Lumen is able to join the lumen guild. Here, when Lumen was eight years old, there was a pack of bats feeding on a cow. Lumen was near, so he tried to save the cow. He stuck his hand out, trying to push the cow away. Suddenly a burst of light came out and scared the pack of bats away.
When he was twelve he was to deliver some sheep to sell in a village that was five miles away. He sold the sheep and was going back, when suddenly, a ravenous pack of wolves must have smelled the sheep and chased after them. Lumen was in the way of the rampaging wolves. Lumen prayed to god that he would not die that day. He put together his hands together and prayed. The wolves did not bite him. Lumen was surprised to see himself alive. The wolves went right past without any notice. This is how he discovered his Cloak of Light power.

When Lumen was eighteen, he got his first bow and quiver with fifty Light Arrows. He hunted for prey, so that his family could eat and then sold the pelts for money. This is how you can acquire more money in the game and get more magic items. One day he was hunting and he saw that there was an old man stuck in the rocks of the river. Lumen went to help this poor old man and set a campfire nearby to warm him up. Lumen asked him why he was stuck in the rocks. The old man said that he had tripped and fell and his ankle was stuck so he couldn’t get out. Lumen told him his ankle was probably sprained so he would need to rest before going back home. Lumen told him they should go to sleep and talk in the morning because they needed to rest.
The next morning the old man told Lumen about a tribe of people who could shoot Light Arrows which looked like his and could vanish into thin air in the middle of the day and even cause beams of light to come from their hands. Lumen was very interested. It made him wonder about his arrows and want to learn more about this tribe but he had to get back to his family. He helped the old man to his home and learned more stories about an evil lord called Sol Necavit.
Lumen went back to his family and found them all missing with the animals scattered everywhere or burned to death. He decided that he must look for them and he feared that Sol Necavit was nearby. He searches through the forest following the trail of destruction everywhere. He beats several of the bosses of Sol Necavit until he finally sees that his family is held hostage and their power of light is being sucked out of them by special Pack Bats who are attacking them when they sleep in a cage. He fights Sol Necavit and wins. He frees his family and they go home.

Magic/Cues/Rewards
The magic of the characters is throughout the story but, for Lumen has a Halo Light power which can blind his enemies and give him light to see with in the dark. He also has a Cloak of Light power, which can bend light around his body and make him invisible. He has Arrows of Light which are made by the people of his tribe. He shot them with a special bow made by his grandfather. It shoots very accurately and glows in the dark as it flies through the air. His Light Beam power is his ultimate weapon. He puts his hand out, and a light force beam heals the sick and eliminates evil when it reaches the enemy.
Sol Necavit has a magical Cloak of Darkness power which can actually make him invisible. His Shield of Despair power can cause his enemies to lose hope and even turn to him if he wills it. The Dark Arrows allow you to not alert any nearby soldiers when you are shooting them. His Dark Beam power lets him turn good people to evil and makes you cold and without hope.

Uniqueness
Luma is unique. Instead of swords and lots of fighting each player has unique powers which he learns to use during the game. You explore unique adventures to win the game. By doing good things Lumen discovers his special skills and becomes more powerful and wins quests and by doing bad things Sol Necavit becomes more powerful and defeats him. There are lots of opportunities for each path, so either player could win. The game is very large with lots of side quests.

Gears of War

The game Gears of war is a very hard even on casual or normal. I have almost beaten it but there is the final boss in which i am stuck but anyways it deserves a 9 because it is really fun. There is one thing it could improve though which is xbox live multiplayer by making it possible for a 16 player match and bigger maps.There are many useful weapons such as the almighty chainsaw gun which allows you to shred many enemies but not boomers, bosses, reavers, and so on. there is one of my favorites AKA the torque bow which kills many enemies in one hit. This game also has a very unique storyline for which many games sometimes lack. This is why I think this game is really great.

Adventure Quest best online RPG ever

Adventure Quest is free even if you decide to take guardianship and/or the x-boost its still free. You pay if you want to get guardianship and/or the x-boost but its only a one time payment. You can battle monsters whenever you want. Take Quests and higher in rank and get new powers for that unique suit such as the rogue outfit,Mages robe,Vampire slayer,Dracomancer and other ones.

If you become a guardian you get so many advantages like new weapons and armor full access to the game and for free you get to try the new add on dragon fable. The x-boost give you ten thousand gold and 500 Z tokens. Z Tokens is a special currency that allows you to buy special weapons and other cool stuff. You can have one allie to fight with you and a pet. You can also buy pets with Z Tokens. Pets are little creatures that assist you.

Final Fantasy X (FFX) - Review

FFX Review: Rating: 9

I have given this rating because it is a great game but the turn-based combat system is very bad. The fighting system can allow any monster that has a higher speed go sometimes 7 turns without you going a single turn which is truly unfair. I gave it still a nine because you can use this to your advantage. The story line is fantastic. It has a system called the sphere grid which a great level up system.The storyline gives it at least a 5. The game is very challenging which gives it a 8. Last and least the sphere grid system.

Graphics look completely realistic in some cutscenes, others are not prerendered but still look good.
Controls are easy to learn.
Pace is between normal and fast.
Difficulty is very challenging.
Depth is great because you can get secret aeons and go get secret weapons in the game.
My favorite secret in the game is: "Anima, because he looks cool"
